London's fastest home broadband comes with a Vantiva (Technicolor) WiFi 6 router jam-packed with great features to help you tailor your home WiFi network to your liking. They are supported by intelligent Mesh routers where we need to expand reach and achieve whole home coverage.

3 Gbps Fibre Broadband FAQs

Premium WiFi is available for new Community Fibre customers on a 24-month contract only with our 1 Gbps or 3 Gbps broadband packages (subject to availability). 

You'll receive additional Linksys Mesh routers (where needed) with your Premium WiFi package.

For new broadband customers our specialist engineers will install and optimise your WiFi, tailoring the position of each router to your home’s specific needs. We supply additional Mesh WiFi routers (where needed) that interlink with one another for superior WiFi performance. Unlike some cheaper routers that tend to be more susceptible to interference, ours automatically select and transmit on two frequencies to maximise coverage and speed.     


In some circumstances, our engineers may have to run Ethernet cables to more than one router. This is to ensure you get a stable WiFi connection in the hard-to-reach areas of your home.  

There is no installation or set up fee.

For new broadband customers our specialist engineers will optimise your Premium WiFi for you to give you total home WiFi coverage in up to 12 rooms, including as many as five bedrooms, across a maximum of three floors.

Although you may achieve WiFi coverage in nearby outbuildings, summer houses, garages, and sheds, our guarantee does not include those areas.

In most cases we expect your service speed to be as per the speeds specified against our 1 Gbps Premium WiFi Full Fibre Broadband or 3 Gbps Premium WiFi Full Fibre Broadband packages. However, 50 Mbps is the minimum speed that we include as a baseline for pay-out with the Premium WiFi guarantee.

To get full 3 Gbps speeds, you will need a multi-gigabit-capable device connected via an Ethernet cable to the 10 Gbps Ethernet LAN port on your Technicolor router. You may need a multi-gigabit adapter for the Ethernet port on your device.

 

We recommend you use a WiFi 6 enabled device to make the most of wireless connectivity.

 

Please be aware that a wired Ethernet connection will always achieve faster speeds than a WiFi connection.

If we can’t deliver a minimum of 50 Mbps across the home, you’ll receive three months of broadband for free.

For new broadband customers our specialist engineers will install your routers in the optimal position to give you the best possible coverage throughout your home. However, we cannot guarantee that you will continue to receive the same coverage if you move any of the routers.   


If you do move any of your routers, even a small distance, be sure to power each router down and back up again to allow them to reselect the best frequency.   


Our engineers are happy to help tailor your installation to suit your WiFi coverage needs, so be sure to communicate this on your installation day.   

Depending on the layout of your home and the location of your routers, you may achieve WiFi coverage in your additional rooms or floors. However, our Premium WiFi guarantee only applies to providing WiFi coverage in no more than five bedrooms or 12 rooms in total across no more than three floors.

We expect that your service will be much faster than this in most cases, in line with the speeds specified against our broadband packages. Usually, the closer you are to a router the faster the WiFi will be. The 50 Mbps is the minimum speed that we guarantee at the far points of your home as a baseline for pay-out with the Premium WiFi coverage guarantee.

3 Gbps Premium WiFi Full Fibre Broadband :

Our Premium WiFi whole home guarantee ensures you receive a minimum speed of 50 Mbps, or we’ll give you three months of free broadband. This guarantee is better than any offered by the national providers. (T&Cs apply). 

24 month contracts - Monthly price increases by £2 each year from 1st April 2026. At the end of your contract your price will increase by £4 versus your last month. 

 

12 month contracts - Your monthly price is fixed for 12 months. At the end of your contract your price will increase by £4 versus your last month. From April 1st 2026 your monthly price will increase £2 annually.
