You might think so ‒ but not with us. Peter Rampling , Chief Commercial Officer at Community Fibre explains:
"We own our London network, rather than leasing one from someone else like Openreach. This helps us offer full fibre speeds and reliability at much lower prices than many part-fibre broadband options from national providers.
For our customers, that means fully future-proof service all the way up to 5 Gbps, at surprisingly low prices. We're making full fibre the norm for our growing community ‒ not a luxury for the few."
Lisa often works from home while her husband is a heavy gamer. They switched to our 1 Gbps full fibre broadband as soon as they found it was available ‒ and haven't looked back since.
Full fibre broadband is the latest, super-fast, future-proof technology. It's a big step up from old-fashioned copper broadband and even part-fibre connections, which are sometimes sneakily called fibre even though they still utilise outdated technology.
Full fibre is also known fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) or fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) because fibre-optic cables run directly to your home. This creates a faster, more reliable connection than relying on copper technology hooked up to a street cabinet.

That depends on what you need it for! Our cheapest broadband deal is on our 35 Mbps package ‒ ideal for key tasks like browsing the web, online banking and watching standard definition videos from a single device at a time.
If you're often gaming online, watching ultra-high definition (UHD) content or streaming live, our 1 Gbps and above packages will suit you better. The same applies if you live in a busy household with lots of people online at the same time.
The good news is even our fastest deals are usually cheaper than what you'll find elsewhere.
Check how we compare.
Nope. We don't force you to pay for a phone that you don't use, so our deals come broadband-only as standard. But if you do want Calls, it's good to know you can add them to your package for £10 a month allowing you to make unlimited calls to UK mobiles and landlines.
Our Essential 35 Mbps full fibre broadband comes on a straightforward 12-month contract. You'll find more of our cheapest home broadband deals on 24-month contracts such as our 100 Mbps package, for example. Our 2.5 Gbps and 5 Gbps packages are only available on 24-month contracts.
Remember: our satisfaction guarantee gives you 60 days to test out your superfast full fibre connection. If you're not happy after this, and we can't fix the issue, you can walk away. No strings attached, no hard feelings.
As much as you want ‒ it's unlimited! All our deals come with no limits as standard. Chat, stream and game to your heart's content, without worrying about running out or paying extra.
None at all. Installation is free and a router is included. All you pay is your monthly price, nothing more.
