Community Fibre launches UK’s first 5 Gbps broadband for businesses

Introducing 5GIGAFAST, 100% full fibre broadband that’s 5x faster than Vodafone for almost half the price₁

September 1st, London, UK: Community Fibre, the UK’s #1 Internet Service Provider on Trustpilot (August 2022) has launched 5GIGAFAST - the UK’s first 5 Gbps 100% full fibre broadband for businesses.

Now included in its collection of expansive business broadband packages ranging from 150 Mbps up to 10 Gbps, its £335/month 5GIGAFAST package will enable businesses to replace expensive and inflexible leased lines with multi-gigabit full fibre at a fraction of the cost, with speeds 5x faster than Vodafone’s £610/month 1 Gbps leased line for almost half the price.

For over 20 years, the only broadband choice for businesses has been slow ADSL/FTTC, or expensive leased lines. With this launch, Community Fibre’s 100% full fibre network will provide businesses with more broadband choice, up to 10 Gbps, than ever before.

The rise in cloud adoption by small, medium, and large enterprises causes strain on copper broadband lines. In fact, nearly 80% of IT professionals say moving to the cloud improved their productivity, according to research by Office 365, and employees who use cloud apps and remote access are 13% more productive than their peers – per a study from Stanford. To seamlessly implement cloud, higher bandwidth gigabit speeds are needed to increase productivity across a business.

5GIGFAST is ideal for businesses with increasing bandwidth demands looking for a leased line replacement to full fibre with gigabit speeds and significantly reduced cost, available on 12, 24 and 36-month contracts. Every month for the past three years, Community Fibre has been rated the UK’s #1 Internet Service Provider on Trustpilot (August 2022) and has maintained its 4.9 ‘Excellent’ Trustpilot score and 96% 5-star reviews.

Graeme Oxby, CEO of Community Fibre commented: “We are proud to provide more broadband options for London businesses, whether big or small, with Community Fibre’s 100% full fibre network. As cloud technology continues to advance, we are determined to continue delivering higher, more reliable bandwidth speeds at the most affordable price, to ensure that London businesses aren’t left behind.”

Caroline Quirke, Head of Business and Wholesale at Community Fibre added: “With fibre broadband speeds that are 5x faster than typical  leased line speeds, switching to 5 Gbps 100% full fibre broadband is a reliable way to ensure your business always stays connected and can benefit from the increased productivity and profitability that cloud adoption will deliver.”
