London ISP provides new features tailored to businesses’ needs and hires new Head of Business and Wholesale

London, UK – 9 March 2021 – Community Fibre, London’s ISP dedicated to providing better broadband connectivity to London’s communities today announced it is introducing a new Business package range to help London businesses get back on track faster as lockdown ends. This new initiative is being spearheaded by Caroline Quirke, the new Head of Business and Wholesale, and her team to further develop Community Fibre’s business proposition. This move will boost Community Fibre’s business offerings and provide a tailored, superior service to London businesses.

The new Community Fibre Business package range will start at £63/ month with 150 Mbps (Ultrafast package) to £475/month with 10 Gbps (10Gigafast package). All packages will be available with a 36 months contract and provide symmetrical upload and download speeds, enabling customers to upload to the cloud, download large files and stream HD video for conferencing quickly and without interruption. In addition, Community Fibre is launching new SLA features for business customers, who will benefit from a superior customer service, including:

A 4G dongle to keep businesses online in case of broadband failure

  • Money back guarantee providing 1 week of credit to clients if the broadband service is not resolved in the first 24 business hours
  • Prioritised business support from its dedicated customer services team
  • A personalised service with a named account manager for each client

With the appointment of Caroline Quirke as the new Head of Business and Wholesale, Community Fibre is reinforcing its commitment to help all London businesses access reliable, fast broadband at an affordable price. Caroline brings extensive market and sector experience, having previously held sales leadership positions within BT, Openreach, Vodafone and NTT Ltd., to drive growth to Community Fibre’s Business & Wholesale division.

Graeme Oxby, CEO Community Fibre said: “When COVID-19 hit, research revealed that more than 2 in 5 SMEs said inadequate broadband has cost their business money and 86% said a broadband connection is critical to operate successfully. The majority (62%) also saw the need for better bandwidth connection to facilitate the increase in cloud-based apps and video conferencing tools.  Our new business proposition, headed by Caroline Quirke will help London businesses address these challenges, transfer smoothly back to the office and boost efficiency after lockdown. We are delighted to have Caroline onboard, as her expert knowledge of the industry will support our goal to help London businesses with better connectivity.”

Community Fibre is supporting a number of London SMEs with its full-fibre network. Deyan Minchev, Founder, AsymmetricA said: "As a creative studio delivering high definition videos and visualisations, we needed a broadband provider that could offer us high speed upload and download, so we could send large files quickly. Community Fibre does just that and at a reasonable price. The service is fast, reliable and consistent and enables us to do our work more efficiently. It's the broadband service we knew we needed but no-one else in London delivered."

Community Fibre provides 100% full-fibre broadband with gigabit-capability delivered straight into the business premises using only fibre optic cables to guarantee fast, reliable connection with 99.99% up-time reliability without the need of a phone line.

The new Business package range is available at a fixed price in the boroughs served by Community Fibre with 12, 24 and 36 months contracts. Community Fibre’s business packages are comprised of four different speeds: 150 Mbps (Ultrafast), 400 Mbps (Hyperfast), 1 Gbps (Gigafast) and 10 Gpbs (10Gigafast).
